Philippines Hop-On-Hop-Off Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Philippines Hop-On Hop-Off Tour (“Tour”) provided by Positive Exposure Productions, Inc., hereinafter referred to as the “Company.” By booking and participating in the Tour, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before booking the Tour.

I. Booking and Reservations:

  1. Prebooking: To secure your spot on the Tour, you must make a reservation at least 5 days before your desired guided tour date. Reservations can be made through the Philippines Hop-On Hop-Off mobile application or authorized booking agents.
  2. Payment: Payment for the Tour must be made in advance at the time of booking. The Company accepts various payment methods, and details will be provided during the booking process.
  3. Changes in booking: If you wish to make changes to your booking, such as adding more participants or modifying the itinerary, your request will be reviewed; however, please be aware that approval is not guaranteed.
  4. Booking on Behalf of Others: If you make a reservation for individuals other than yourself, you assume the role of the designated contact person. You must ensure that you have the legal authority to act on their behalf, have obtained necessary consents, and confirm their acceptance of these Terms. Additionally, you are responsible for payment, notifying us of changes or cancellations, and keeping other travelers informed.
  5. Confirmation: Once we receive your booking, we will promptly check the availability of all elements and send you a confirmation email within 1-2 business days. If any of the options or components you’ve chosen are unavailable, we will
    inform you without delay and offer the opportunity to adjust your booking accordingly.

II. Cancellation and Rebooking:

  1. No Cancellation: There are no cancellations allowed for the Tour. Once you have made a reservation and paid for the Tour, it is non-refundable.
  2. Rebooking: If you wish to change your Tour date, you may do so up to 5 days before your original Tour date, subject to availability. A rebooking fee may apply, and the Company reserves the right to determine the availability for the new date.

III. Insurance:

  1. Inclusive Travel Insurance: We highly advise all participants to benefit from our inclusive travel insurance, which encompasses unexpected occurrences such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, personal belongings loss, and any unforeseen situations. Please note that the Company does not assume responsibility for such incidents, and as a result, compensation or refunds will not be provided in such circumstances.

IV. Tour Itinerary:

  1. Tour Schedule: The Company will make every effort to adhere to the Tour schedule as advertised. However, the Company reserves the right to modify the itinerary, route, or schedule due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, road closures, or other events beyond its control.
  2. Safety: Participants are expected to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the Company and its staff during the Tour. Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in your removal from the Tour without a refund.

V. Liability:

  1. Limitation of Liability: The Company shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused during the Tour, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Company.

VI. Information and Privacy

  1. Privacy Policy: When booking with us, your personal information will be collected as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using our services or providing your personal details, you agree to this policy.
  2. Mandatory Information: To finalize a reservation, we require precise information, including full names, birthdates, essential contact details such as phone numbers, and email addresses are necessary for the booking contact person. Additionally, we request contact information for other travelers (excluding minors and family members residing at the same address) to facilitate efficient communication in case of emergencies. It is imperative that the information provided is accurate, and you assume responsibility for its correctness.
  3. Images and Marketing: During our tours, photos or videos may be taken that include you. By participating, you consent to the use of these media for various purposes, including marketing, without compensation to you.

VII. General Terms:

  1. Age Requirement: Participants must meet the minimum age requirement specified by the Company for the Tour.
  2. Health and Physical Condition: Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable health and physical condition to participate in the Tour. If you have any medical conditions, please consult with your healthcare provider before booking.
  3. Conduct: Participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards other participants, staff, and the environment. The Company reserves the right to remove any participant who disrupts the Tour or engages in inappropriate behavior, without a refund.
  4. Governing Law: These Terms and your participation in the Tour shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines.

By booking the Hop-On Hop-Off Tour, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and
agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or require further

By booking and participating in the Philippines Hop-On-Hop-Off (HOHO) Transit Tours, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

 

  1. Eligibility: The tour is open to all travelers, with a focus on international transit passengers having a layover of at least 8 hours at participating Philippine airports. Participants must have a 2-hour window before the tour start time for arrival, immigration clearance, and check-in, as well as a 2-hour buffer after the tour for airport return, immigration, and boarding. Transit participants must present a valid passport, a confirmed onward international flight, and meet Philippine immigration entry requirements. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and submit a signed consent form, while seniors and PWDs must declare special needs and submit required waivers. There is no limit on the number of layover tours a traveler may join, provided all eligibility requirements are met each time.
  1. Tour Inclusions: The tour includes air-conditioned transportation, a tour coordinator, bottled water, a poncho, and ADD+D and medical expense insurance coverage. Meals and personal expenses are not included unless stated otherwise.
  1. Booking & Confirmation: To book the tour, eligible passengers can reserve through the LoveMM app, partner tour operators, or walk-in registration at the NAIA Transit Tour Concierge Desk. Pre-booking is also available on the PAL website as part of their stopover program. Walk-ins may be accepted on a case-to-case basis, subject to capacity and eligibility.
  1. Check-In & Timing: Participants must arrive at the designated HOHO pick-up point at least 1 hour before departure. Delays beyond the scheduled time may result in forfeiture of the tour slot without refund.
  1. Cancellations & Refunds: All bookings and payments for the Philippines Hop-On, Hop-Off (HOHO) Transit Tour are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or unused portions of the tour. Exceptions may be made only in the event of official tour cancellation due to force majeure or safety concerns, with rebooking or credit options provided at the organizer’s discretion. By booking, participants accept this No Refund Policy.
  1. Safety & Conduct: Participants must adhere to safety protocols and follow the instructions of the tour guide at all times. The operator reserves the right to remove any passenger who behaves disruptively or violates safety rules.
  1. Liability Disclaimer: The Department of Tourism and its partner operators shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delays caused by force majeure, natural events, or third-party service disruptions.
  1. Travel Insurance: All transit tour participants are covered by travel insurance, including Accidental Death & Permanent Dismemberment (ADD&D) up to ₱100,000 and medical expenses up to ₱10,000. Insurance is provided upon successful payment, and claims must be filed within 30 days. Claim processing is the passenger’s responsibility. Payouts are processed within 10 days.

 

  1. Modifications: The operator reserves the right to modify or cancel parts of the tour due to weather, traffic, or operational concerns, with or without prior notice.

 

  1. Data Privacy: Participant information will be handled in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and used solely for tour operations and reporting. Information may be shared with authorized tour operators and government partners strictly for operational and security purposes. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

 

  1. Consent for use of photographs and videos: Participants in the tour consent to the use of photographs and videos captured during the experience for promotional purposes. These materials will be handled with the utmost respect and responsibility, ensuring that their privacy and well-being are always prioritized.
